Campbell County Bridge – N62

This $2.2 million bridge replacement project on Route 711 in Campbell County, Virginia included the installation of a 185′ long, prefabricated single span through truss. The 226,000-lb truss was set into place using a 550-ton and 600-ton crane to make a complicated, tandem-crane lift. This project was made even more complex because the work was accomplished over two active Norfolk Southern rail lines. CCG was responsible for design, fabrication and installation of the truss.
